Easter walk raises £2900 for Room to Heal

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Chloe and JJ’s easter marathon walk through the Shropshire hills. The chicken and rabbit braved typically beautiful British weather, climbing 26 miles over the Shropshire Way. The views would have been spectacular if they could have seen them, but the mist and rain made it difficult. With wet socks they ploughed on, giving out chocolate easter eggs to the few brave children who were also out walking in the wilds. Eventually the clouds parted and the sun shone down as they finished their walk in a local pub for a well deserved pint of Shropshire ale.
Thank you again to the many generous people who sponsored their walk, raising much needed funds for Room to Heal, which will be put to good use.
