Exciting news! The National Emergencies Trust will donate £10,000 in ‘match funding’ to Room to Heal’s therapy programme.
The National Emergencies Trust (NET) has generously agreed to donate £10,000 in ‘match funding’ to Room to Heal, to support refugees and asylum seekers who have survived torture.
This means that every person who donates to Room to Heal through this Crowdfunder/NET appeal link will have their donation ‘matched’ by NET.
So, if you donate £20 to Room to Heal through this link, NET will match your donation with their £20 donation to us. Or, if you donate £50 for example, NET will match it with their £50 donation.
In fact, NET will match all individual donations up to the value of £250. (Only one donation per person will be matched through this scheme.)
NET will continue matching donations until we’ve raised £10,000 and they have matched this with their £10,000 fund.
We would love to raise as much as possible through this generous opportunity. Will you help us?
We fully recognise that financially this is a difficult time for many people, however, if you are able to give, please do support us.
Right now, we need to raise funds for therapy to support people like Yafet (anonymised):
Yafet has been homeless for over a year in the UK while seeking asylum, and was struggling to cope with life: “Room to Heal is like a real family for me. They care so much about me. They always told me there is hope and tomorrow is another day. That keeps me safe.”
Please will you support Yafet and our community members via this appeal today so they can get the help they urgently need this year?
Thank you for standing with them,
Room to Heal
PS We need at least 25 different people to contribute to this appeal, for NET’s matched funding to be fully released. Please will you donate today to help us secure these matched funds? Thank you so much!
